This kit is designed to be worked with the instructions contained in Japanese Motifs in Stumpwork & Goldwork (Page 40)
Raised detached forewings are the main feature of the Copper Butterfly. Using a combination of stumpwork and goldwork techniques, this interpretation of a Japanese family crest uses a variety of gold metallic threads, gold kid and sequins, and has been worked on a background of cream and gold shot kimono silk.
