This kit is designed to be worked with the instructions contained in Japanese Motifs in Stumpwork & Goldwork (Page 64)
The design for this goldwork plum blossom was inspired by one of the many Japanese family crest designs featuring the plum blossom, one of the more popular motifs in Japanese heraldry. Using traditional goldwork techniques, with a variety of gold metallic threads and stranded cotton thread in several shades of pink, this small embroidered medallion was worked on a background of ivory patterned kimono silk. The finished panel may be framed or made into a brooch.
This goldwork embroidery kit contains all materials required to work this project.
