The Cherry Blossom Roundel is not available as a kit, but as downloadable pattern, with full instructions.

This small embroidered roundel was inspired by a Japanese family crest of a cherry blossom flower, buds and leaves.

Using traditional stumpwork and surface embroidery techniques, and a variety of silk threads, this design may be worked on ivory silk, or the fabric of your choice. The finished embroidery may be framed or mounted into the lid of a box.

I just ordered the pattern and have not started on it yet. I am currently busy making Christmas stockings. It will after Christmas before I can think of doing any kind of new project. M.J. Barry

Beautiful pattern and fantastic clear instructions as Jane always does. Very easy and clear to follow as I’m usually one who has to be shown! Thank you so much Jane

Love this roundel. Beautifully simple and elegant, and a perfect size for the use I want to put it to, eg featuring it on a Japanese rice bag I’ve made. It looks wonderful - albeit not as perfect as the original! ?
