The Cherry Blossom Roundel is not available as a kit, but as downloadable pattern, with full instructions.
This small embroidered roundel was inspired by a Japanese family crest of a cherry blossom flower, buds and leaves.
Using traditional stumpwork and surface embroidery techniques, and a variety of silk threads, this design may be worked on ivory silk, or the fabric of your choice. The finished embroidery may be framed or mounted into the lid of a box.

Nice subject, should be fun.
It has been a long time since I have tackled any goldwork or stumpwork , and it may be a while before I get to start this one! But it looks do-able, the instructions are clear and my stash is comprehensive, so time is the only barrier to starting. Looking forward to it immensely!

Thank you for the free design
For a free design, I would've expected the inclusion of the "Transferring the Design" page without having to purchase the book.

Cherry Blossom Roundel
As with all of Jane's kits and instructions, the Cherry Blossom Roundel is clear, beautifully illustrated and easy to follow. I have purchased a number of her books and kits, and have always been delighted with them.

Cherry Blossom Roundel
Such clear instructions & diagrams that the attractive buttonhole beaded edge instead of overcast makes this as a standout for leaves & petals!
