This kit is designed to be worked with the instructions contained in Japanese Motifs in Stumpwork & Goldwork (Page 122)
Three shades of crimson have been used to embroider the detached petals of the peony flower and bud. This design also features a bumble bee, with detached gauzy wings and velvety striped abdomen, and a tiny spider in a glistening web – all worked with a variety of silk and metallic threads, organza and beads, using stumpwork and surface embroidery techniques.
This stumpwork embroidery kit contains all materials required to work this project.
