Saturday 17th November 2018
10.30 am – 12.30 pm, Bowral Uniting Church Hall
At the end of 2017 we had a display of work and morning tea which was much enjoyed by all. During this event, a “challenge” for 2018 was discussed and agreed upon by all present. The challenge is to work a design, in any embroidery technique, inspired by one of the following:
- “monochrome” – any design worked in shades of the one colour
- “Australiana” – any design inspired by anything “Australian” – Anzac, flora, fauna, mineral etc
- “miniature” – any design interpreted in miniature
You are invited to display your response to this challenge, whether finished or as a “work in progress”, at a morning tea to be held in the Bowral Uniting Church Hall on Saturday 17th November. Everyone is invited to this morning tea, whether you have participated in the challenge or not – it will be a great opportunity to catch up with old friends, and to discuss our workshop program for 2019.
There is a charge of $5 for this event to help cover the hire of the hall. Please RSVP, via email, to firstname.lastname@example.org, to give us an idea of numbers for catering. We look forward to seeing you in November.
